The Bristol International Balloon Fiesta is held annually in England. Teams from the UK and other parts of the world bring their hot air balloons to the site and participate in mass ascents where as many as 100 balloons may launch at a time.
Together with the Bristol Ballon Fiesta brand, I created a user centered events app. This project followed the complete digital process, right from user flows and wireframes, to high fidelity prototyping and user interface design. By working closely with the Head of Digital Marketing I ensured the brand was accurately interpreted into the digital world.
The visual style combines the existing brand guidelines to create and contemporary final design.
Home Screen Design-The The home screen design allows the user to stay up to date with some of the latest news articles and also displays a welcome message to the user making the app a lot more personal. The easy access toolbar allows the user to seamless click through different areas of the app which include: Home- Discover, What’s on, Socials- Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, and a location area- where they can get information on parking, travel issues, etc.
As part of the user sign up we will look to include a sign-up fee which will include an entry fee. This payment method will be made as seamless and easy as possible allowing each user to use various payment methods, including apple pay, visa debt, etc.
